Throat noise

Does anyone constantly make throat noises I keep having the urge to make a noise in my throat why do symptoms keep popping up 😞😞😞😞😞

Hi

When you say throat noises, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you clearing your throat or is your throat making a noise when you breath?

There are a lot of anxiety symptoms regarding the throat, most common I think, would be the feeling of a lump in your throat (globus). Also, post nasal drip can cause you to clear your throat. I suffer with really bad reflux etc and the acid slashing at the back of my throat causes me to cough or clear my throat.

Try and relax your head and neck muscles especially your jaw.

Yeah like I just keep having the erge to clear it but it's never blocked and I keep sniffing down so irritating! Thank you for your reply 😘

Sounds like it could be post nasal drip

I have regular esophageal spasms of the throat and make a weird noise that wakes me up every time I'm about to sleep!

Pleased to read this replay I have also these esophageal spasms of the throat and sometimes with noise. It is so scary, been with them for more than 3 weeks now.

the same thing happens to me. its like a little hm noise and my mom always points it out so I can try to resist but I always start doing it without noticing. i also crack my knuckles and my neck a lot. its too hard to resist
