I'm about to start getting ready for work, I feel like breaking down and sobbing. I don't know why I feel this way, I know I have to go and it's usually not that bad once I'm there.
Once it's over, I'll start to dread my next shift... it's a tiring circle.
I'll go and be brave and smile, but I'm getting tired of being strong.

Hi Bumble_Bea, it is a tiring circle. I too sometime get tired of being strong. I am glad to hear that once you are at work it isn't as bad. It's a lot of what ifs playing around in our head before going anywhere. I procrastinate at times but am always happy when I have accomplished pushing through any fear. We can't just stay in our comfort zone or we will become stuck and never move forward. Dreading your next shift is the un-rational part of fear rising up again. Since you know it's anxiety, the thing is to work on that fear while at home. Work on acceptance through meditation and deep breathing. You just need that little something to help you over your doubts in the morning as well as evening. Meditation does wonders for that. It can be your crutch by putting your mind in a positive state. Hopefully, your shift is over now and you can relax some. x
