Derealization

Does this derealization ever go I've literally had it for 2 months and just started Prozac 3 days ago but I feel like I'm stuck with this forever I just want to be normal my life was perfect now I feel it never will be

I ask myself the same question for 4 months straight. Derealization and depersonalization...... still wondering when the hell is going to go away. Do go on Dpselfhelp.com? They have tons of recovery stories and when I'm feeling hopeless I go there to read them

Thank you read some awful ones saying they've had it for 20 years can't see my self living with it that long

Yeah I read those too but we don't know their full situation. Like maybe drug use or not really helping themselves. I don't know but I got this out the blue so I hope this goes away. If you click on their recovery stories section only you will only positive ones. I read one the other day about a woman that had it for 20 years and finally got help and went away and now she misses it.... I'm like WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take mine then!!!!!

Oh and the same lady said that she knew she was recovered when she started getting massive headaches because when she had Dp/dr she couldn't feel any pain. And I'm here thinking that explains why I haven't had a headache since this hell started... well actually I got one headache 2 months ago or something.

Oh see I get very bad headaches now and then but think that's cause my meds
