Rising anxiety levels.. argh!

I've been given an appointment to see a Mental Health Specialist today (well in half an hour). Took all my energy to make the phone call this morning and now I'm exhausted. Don't know what I'm going to say because I get myself tongue tied. I have no one that understands to come with me and explain my problems so I guess I'm going to have to do it alone.

On the plus side I slept very well last night due to the fact I'm so tired it's caught up with me.

I'm afraid their going to just fob me off like they always do and I won't get anywhere once again.

Hi there,

It was ok actually.. as far as those things go.

Really nice lady fully understood what I was saying and put me on some medication which I knew was going to happen but she also gave me some leaflets and gave me some advice on therapy to see if that helps. Just got to wait for a few weeks for medication to take affect to see if it makes me feel better.

That's good news I am pleased you are getting the help you need.we mustn't put up with our symptoms there is good help out there.we just got to swallow are pride and ask for it.

I know I've tried several times before but my doctors weren't interested. The lady I saw today was different so hopefully I will start to get some results soon
