Anxietymadman123, the human heart can withstand irregular rhythm and a fast rate without any problems, specially a young heart like yours, the heart muscle is incredibly tough. Irregular heart beatvis a very common symptom of anxiety disorder: a couple of months ago I had a sressful event I needed to attend and 2 weeks before I began to experience missed heartbeats. But I'd had it before, knew it couldn't harm me and would eventually pass so I felt no fear about them. Sure enough a week after the stressful event they ceased.

And so will yours as soon as you accept the pains and heart beats as unthreatening and things which will pass as soon as you start stressing about them and adding extra fear to your over sensitised nervous system.

You did right to get the symptoms checked out medically, apart from anything else it gave you reassurance that there is nothing organically wrong. Now you must Accept for the time being these unpleasant symptoms and they will surely pass.

This is the right way to handle all the symptoms of anxiety, by Accepting them you reduce and eventually cease generating fear that your nerves thrive on. So stop frightening yourself half to death over something that is only a glitch in your nervous system of no medical importance and you will soon be free of these discomforting feelings.

This actually helped a lot all the problem is tho they cant find nothing wrong but they say my heart is sometimes really really irregular a cardiologist an my gp said many times its anxiery but when I have arrhythmia they don't say it's from anxietu

Anxietymadman123, so you're saying you know anxiety causes the irregular heart beat, which makes sense, but there's a possibility the arrhythmiw isn't anxiety. To me it would be too much of a coincidence to have anxiety-based irregular heart beat and physical-based arrhythmia at the same time and I would suspect it's all anxiety disorder.

But for reassurance I would go along with the medics and ask your doctor for an urgent referral to see a cardiologist to see what they think. I only say 'urgent' because if it's not marked urgent the appointment could take months. Tony Blair had arrhythmia whilst he was Prime Minister, they did some procedure to correct his heart beat, it wasn't a pacemaker. So if it is physical there are non scarey procedures to put things right so either way you are going to be fine and your heart rate will return to normal.

In the meantime try not to stress about it and accept it without fear for the time being as I keep on saying and you will recover I assure you.

I've already seen a cardiologist he gave me blood tests after that incident then thought it was a blood clot done a echo Diagram and ct scan on lungs all clear doctor said he would do my thyroid don't think he did I've got an appointment with doctor in 2 days and a holter monitor again next month last time I HD a holter monitor the tachycardia and arrhythmia came up and the cardiologist was fine with it so everything comes back fine but I still get them there's not much more they can do an it's been like this for 4months can't be that bad

As you say, can't be that bad. So as your acceptance of these uncomfortable symptoms grows so shall they decline and disappear which is what always happens with anxiety.

You say that you do get abnormal ecgs when you ho to A&E some times. So what do thry think the problem is? I don't know whether heart pain caused by anxiety registers on a ecg. Quite possible I would have thought. But the hospital should be treating you because of the abnormal ecgs. They should be doing something to investigate the abnormal ecgs surely.
