Anxiety dying

Does anyone else anxiety make them think they are dying I've even said it to my self out loud several time today 🙈 My heart feels funny so I must be having a heart attack 🙄 Or heart failure even though I had a ecg 3 days ago!

Yes I get this all the time esp when I have panic attacks . It's hard to control but tell yourself your fine let your body work . Anxiety can cause arrhythmias that are harmless because your body is realeasing a lot of adrenaline. Tell yourself out loud it's just anxiety and you'll be fine

Tinker123, anxiety can give you all kinds of aches and strange feelings in your chest and around your heart - but that certainly doesn't mean you're dying SPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAD AN O.K. ECG ONLY 3 DAYS AGO!

So just accept the strange feeling as a matter of no importance and get on with your life without stressing and obsessing about an illness you don't have. You have nothing to worry about, you're going to be fine so relax and enjoy your life.

Yes it sure does. I agree with the others. It's the adrenaline rush of fight or flight from fear but the fear is false; there is no emergency yet our bodies think we should run.
