Hi all, when I get a chest pain, or a head pain, or stomach pain, or any random symptom, is it me saying in my head "oh what if this is a heart pain" that fuels the anxiety further? if I stop reacting like that should It help me??

Well I'd hope it will because I do the same thing constantly. Yes I've tried to say, "oh, it's ok. It's just a symtom. You'll be alright." But then my subconscious is right there saying the opposite and I still have a mental battle. And sometimes I can calm myself down enough to get over whatever I'm feeling and sometimes, depending on what the symptom is, my negative thoughts win and I get ambushed with anxiety and freak out.

Hi.

I suffer with this really bad. Any slight arm or chest pain I believe I'm having a heart attack. I go in to panic mode.

Dizziness and lose my self. Iv had every thing checked and all is fine. Anxiety just takes over and it's hard to ignore it.

Iv been told to read books on this and look at how to control your self and tell your self it's nothing. Since joining this app a few days ago. Reading so many people's problem has helped me so much already. It lets you know your not alone in any of this. Keep reading. This advise on here is amazing.

Best wishes.
