Hi moni85 . I lost almost 3 stone. I am putting it back on now. My doctor said it was 70% muscle mass and 30% fat. I was basically starving myself. Not intentionally, just felt sick whenever i'd eat. Unfortunately I can't give you much advice as what I did was force feed like i'd do when I was bulking up for gym. So basically ignore the feeling like you're going to throw up and force the food down... that is if you're not eating properly. I was diagnosed with PTSD anxiety 5 months ago.
Me, I bcoz everytime my anxiety is in full swing, I got no appetite to eat. Sigh...esp. morning. I got diagnosed GAD a month ago. Sigh...are you on meds too? How are you?
I was bodybuilding when I had my first panic attack and dropped from 240 - 186 in about three months.
Same story as me! My doc said it was 70% muscle. I don't know what it is but I have a percent of my muscle/stamina I used to.
Hello!
I know this sounds like a stupid question but are you eating? If you are then you need to go back to your GP as there may be another underlying problem.
If however, you're like me and you've not been eating, then that is normal. i too lost a stone in the space of 2 weeks from not eating and vomiting constantly because of my anxiety. It wasnt intentional, just food made me nauseous. I did manage to get back on track once my nausea subsided but its picking up again now i've started back at school.
My advice would be take it slow. Afterall, your stomach will have shrunk so you cant go from eating nothing to eating 3 meals a day. Start slow, my GP recommed fizzy drinks and sweet tea if you're unable to eat solid food(even if it makes you sick). Also, try some plain toast, that helped me too.
Please take care of yourself though, I know its hard but you need to eat something. i hope you start feeling better soon and you can message me if you need anymore advice, i'd be happy to help
