Is it common to feel nothing at all when you are in a dissociative state?

This has been increasingly happening to me, particularly around my partner, who I have intrusive thoughts about. Even when I am calmer, I feel like there is a sheet of glass in front of me preventing me from truly experiencing what's going on.
