Can anyone tell me if they get a numb or tingerling feeling in their face. Mines really bad at the moment. It's making me panic. It moves from one side of my face to the other. Mostly in my cheeks. Can't this just be anxiety. Told my doctor about it a couple of times. Looking for reassurance! Ty

I get this vibration thingy all over my body. Especially my legs. I don't know if you mean the same... but I can't stay still. And sends me to panic mode. I am constantly fighting off panic attacks

My face fees like I've got sunburn/irritated/ numb feeling. So hard to explain. Two nights ago I had a panic attack for no reason. Since then my face had been like this . I'm thinking I've got a brain tumour, which scares the hell out of me! I'm on the verge of going to A.E .

Do you have lots of headaches? Anxiety is the devil. Go to the doctors so you can have peace of mind.

I get a numb tingly feeling anywhere on my face, lips, tongue, top of head, nose and ears. I also get twitchy eyes and lips all of it due to anxiety.

It sounds like the seratonan imbalance triggering the nerves. I have had it off and on for years, just part of anxiety and panic.

Yes! I used to get tingling on the left side of my body. They actually diagnosed me in emergency with mini strokes but were stunned when they couldn't find any evidence of stroke in my brain. Shortly after I started on Lexapro and those tingly feelings went away except when I'm feeling really anxious.

Thank you everybody for replying.

Day 3 and I'm still tingerling! I I'm not panicking but because I can feel it I'm always thinking about it!

Just funny how the other day I was thinking about how well I've been feeling then boom! Back to square one!

I experienced numbness on the right side of my entire body from head to toe. The MRI showed no abnormality and my neurologist told me it was all due to stress and anxiety. It went away after medication. Years after that (which is recently) when I stopped taking my anti-depressant, I had numbness in my right hand almost 24/7. After some tests, my orthopedic said I had carpal syndrome and will need surgery. I was having other severe symptoms of anxiety which prompted me to go back to medication. Eventually, the numbness in my hand just disappeared. I no longer need to have an operation. Bottom line is, anxiety manifests itself in our body in different forms. You may experience the numbness in your face, others in their hands or feet or in any other part of the body. It's all the same. It's anxiety.
