Anxiety and Depression

I been going through anxiety and depression since. I was eight years old. Everyday is a new struggle and i get to learn something new about myself. Im just tried of feeling disconnected from my body.

It's true tamka38, having had anxiety and depression for a long time does get us to do some introspection into who we are. I personally would rather have not gone through anxiety to find that out but..... I understand the disconnected feeling can be wearing. Are you in therapy at all? On medication? Something caused you to develop anxiety at such an early age. I believe that until we address the cause, the symptoms will continue to fester. I do hope you find some answers and the support you need from this forum. Take care of yourself.

My father brother start messing with me when i was eight year old. My dad went to prison when I was 2 year old and died in prison when I turn 8. I didnt even finish school because is was so bad. I went to the emergency every other day and my mom try to help me but the doctor said I was okay so I suffer for so many years

I'm afraid to take medication but thinking about seeing a therapist soon

I am so terribly sorry tamka. I was afraid something traumatic might have happened to you. It's inexcusable that the doctor would say you were okay. They needed to address both your physical and emotional harm. The fact that you lost your father at such an early age had to have an emotional impact as well. A father, being someone who is there to protect his children and you lost that.

It's never too late to address the matter with a therapist if you are able to at this time. My heart breaks for you. Sending you a hug. Stay safe dear... x
