Shortness of breath .

So I was having a few "better" days with my shortness of breath , however yesterday I went to a friends daughters birthday party. While sitting there I felt very short of breath for a while . Like I wasn't able to take a breath . It really freaked me out because I was feeling fine before then . I came home and went to sleep where I slept fine. I got up this morning and felt the same way so I went back to sleep got up and felt a little better . Now just have some mild chest pain . Does anybody know what this could be ?

I just don't understand . I was having a few good days and then all of a sudden yesterday it came out of nowhere . It was mild chest pain and very short of breath but I checked my pulse which was in the 70s and my oxygen was 98% . I just want answers . It drives me crazy I can't enjoy the little things in life . And when I get like this I am constantly checking my oxygen and pulse just to make sure I'm still ok .

I have very bad shortness of breath for like 8 years! I can't stand it and I have had so many tests I think something is wrong to but this has been going on for so many years it never gets better for me and the only time I don't notice it is when I'm asleep it's terrible to feel like this I have had every anxiety symptom there is and this is by far the worst one I have experienced it has robbed me of my happiness and flow of my life!
