I'm not gonna win this fight
Yes you will!
Have faith you can do this
Stay_strong, you most certainly will win as you have the will, the courage and the brains to do so. None of us are sent tribulations without being given what we need to overcome them and you are no exception. Anxiety and all its horrible manifestations are not real illness but imposters imposed on us by over wrought nervous systems. In the postings of this forum you will find all you need for your road plan for a full recovery.
Yes you will you have been strong and positive in the past You can do it
Stay_strong85, for some reason when you joined this forum, you chose the name StayStrong. It was a very positive name which means that somewhere deep inside, you feel this to be true. It may have gotten buried for a while with stresses and doubts, but it is there waiting for you to find it once again. We are here for you. x
Thank you everyone. It's been so rough lately but thank you all for reminding me that there IS A way, and I DO have what it takes within me. I pray I find it again. I've just been struggling so bad. The meds help to an extent, but I still get very depressed and extremely stressed. I just want to get back up on my feet again. 😧And I STILL can't leave the house in a normal way, it is so frustrating.
Hey
Hope you don't mind my joining in, i'm new to this site and not sure of the "rules"😱
I had the very same thought as you last year so like everyone else i want to offer you my support
When these feelings overwhelm me i take myself off to my favorite place ( for me it's walking along the beach) and i take the time to have a good look around making sure to notice as much as possible ( colours, smells, sounds as well as sights)
I tell myself these are the reasons i fight to stay strong so and that the unwanted feelings and thoughts that are making feel like i can't go on WILL pass
Treat yourself as you would treat anyone else who suffers as you do, be kind , give praise and keep fighting for the better times you deserve
Xx😘
You are not alone. We are all here and you can do this. God gives battles to his strongest soldiers!
Yesterday was one of my very low days where physical pain was concerned, as usual I was busy googling my symptoms and somehow I came across this sight and what a wonderful bunch of people. The most sincere I've come across in a while.
We are here to help. I for one, do not mind.
Go well.
PS: For some reason, for what its worth, I read your username as; I'm gona win this fight. I only saw the 'not' afterwards.
Awe I'm glad, imma think that then. 😏😚
Hello my friend. (Lifeisworthliving) you have indeed found a forum with sincere and caring people. We welcome you. I'm glad you found us. x
Hi stay_strong85. You have been kind to offer me hope and support when I've needed it and I would like to return the favour. I too have been feeling like I can't go on but it is not what I want. I want to get better. I want to be happy and most of all I want to not want to feel suicidal. When I talk to my counsellor etc they always ask me the same question.. Given how you feel, what has kept you here. My answer was my cats, they bring me joy and I couldn't do that to them. One is very timid and I know she wouldn't settle anywhere else.
What has been your strength to keep going? Hold on to that. Do you have a counsellor you can talk to or even a crisis telephone number where you can offload in confidence?
Remember that you are important. You are wonderful. You ARE strong! You are taking the power back and sharing how you feel. You are owning it and you will win!
Do you have something that you enjoy doing? Try something that won't overwhelm yourself.
Lean on us and we will help you through. X
g33kgirl86, that was a beautiful response as well as encouraging. How are you doing? Sometimes it is so hard to accept our own advice to others. Your counselor is right in hanging on to your strength. It is your life raft and will get you out of the rough waters and bring you back to shore. Make today count! x
You will win it, don't even doubt yourself for a second.
