Jamescrider2, while you are in the awareness state of just having talked with your therapist, take in what he has said. How the irrational thoughts that have been running through your mind have made you suffer with all kinds of symptoms. Your doctor said to ignore anxiety, we on the forum prefer the word ACCEPT anxiety. No longer fight it. Embrace it. Only you can put a stop to it controlling your life. It can't hurt you if you don't let it.
Don't focus on it don't give it any glory don't let it rob you from peace do enjoyable things...

I think of anxiety as a bad dude trying to hook me on drugs or get me to do self destructive acts. JUST SAY NO. Spend time with the good people who are enjoying life and being productive...
