Anyone taken this before? If so any side effects? The nurse practitioner where I recently started therapy diagnosed me with OCD today. So now I have that and anxiety along with some mild depression.
I am terrified of taking medications especially ones that affect your mental health. Any advice or anything is appreciated. Thanks

Luvox is an SSRI, a common class of antidepressants these days. The same class as the highly popular Prozac.
Some possible side effects from drugs.com:
indigestion, gas, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite; increased urination; weakness, drowsiness, depressed mood; sweating, mild skin rash; vision changes; dry mouth, stuffy nose; unusual or unpleasant taste in the mouth; agitation, feeling restless; shaking; heavy menstrual periods; or decreased sex drive, abnormal ejaculation, trouble having an orgasm.
You may get a few of these side effects, you won't get all of them and they may go away after a few weeks.
Yep. I'm currently taking 50MG of Luvox. The most significant side effect I had was insomnia, but my psychiatrist told me to take it once in the morning instead of the twice a day he had recommended and the insomnia went away within a week. Other side effects I've experienced are ringing in the ears, sweating(but that didn't last long), vertigo and some shakiness. I've seen a significant improvement regarding my compulsions after starting taking Luvox 4 months ago.
