so i was wondering have any of you ever had shoulder pain?
Ive had it for quite a few years now and im convinced its lung cancer, Ive had all sorts of tests recently and I was wondering , does cancer show up in your blood?
Im trying to calm myself down because its really freakinf me out and I do smoke.... so :/
Your best bet is to go and get a bunch of tests run by your doctor so you can know for sure.
I workout almost everyday so whenever I have any soreness it's usually attributed to that. I doubt lung cancer would reveal itself in the form of shoulder pain, never google anything regarding how you feel physically or your symptoms because it will just cause you to worry more. Try drinking some water, getting a nice massage, take an ibeprofun, drink some amino powder mixed with your water if you can it should help with hydration and muscle repair.

I've had intense should blade and rib pain on the left side for almost 11 years, it started as a burning pain in my shoulder blade that was an annoyance, now it's in my ribs and spine, on the ride side I have swollen lymph nodes well, little pea shaped lumps that never go away and are painless, I'm

I've had 5 blood tests and an ultrasound on my stomach recently that weren't related to this, now I'm convinced that all of these symptoms are related. Do you think I'd be dead by now if it was cancer? I'm in so much pain all the time that it spikes my anxiety and I look for answers to my pain yeno?

I think if it was cancer then your symptoms would be a lot more serious especially lung cancer
You would probably be coughing up blood, passing out or something due to your white blood cells fighting so hard.
It's probably just something else that's a lot less serious and non life threatening

Go to your doctor and tell them exactly what you told me and have them x-ray / run some tests so you know you're fine

I am nearly 72 years old. I jhave had shoulder pain off and on since I fell in 2007 and have a slight tear in my rotator cuff. I have been dealing with shoulder pain for several months now. My specialist told me it is due to age related degeneration. I need to ice my shoulder and do some exercises to get better.
I had my chest X-ray this morning and I'm freaking out! My lymph nodes on the back of neck are all swollen and now I've convinced myself I have lung cancer!
The guy said it would take up to 3 weeks for my results is this normal?
The pain in my back , chest and ribs is starting to really concern me!
I'm praying profusely on the kitchen floor right now in a full on state of panic.
The doctor said my lymph nodes are swollen! Which if it doesn't go down in 3 weeks then I shall have to go for a biopsy! They won't go down lol they've been huge for like 6 years one of them getting bigger over time :/
So even if this chest X-ray is clear, I have more shit to worry about :/ god man fuck anxiety it's so pointless, if there is something wrong , worrying won't change anything!

I couldn't compare my situation anymore to yours!! I have constantly chest pains! I also smoke so I'm so paranoid it's from that! I had my X-ray Monday and get my results Friday..
Hope everything goes well for you. Anxiety is bullshit, it's just in your head, I'm still learning to deal with it!! So many people have came over it so pray you do sooner than later!!

Hmmmn how come you're getting your results so fast? Where did you get yours done? I got mine done in the walk in centre this morning and he said it takes up to 3 weeks!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one, I have constant chest pains and upper back pain in my shoulder blades and ribs!

Ah I see, maybe that's why? I'm assuming you got yours done in a hospital? I was basically given a slip from my doctor for the walk in centre, then I went in the next day and got it done! I do still smoke yeah but it's like 2-3 a day depending on how stressed and shit I'm feeling! My doctors didn't even give me a slip.. they gave me a number for a local hospital, they had a long waiting list so they told me to go to the near city hospital where they literally just said yeah that's fine and I was in and out within 10 minutes!! I only had it on Wednesday afternoon though and it's only Friday, so you think so? No I have good posture but I used to have massive boobs lol so maybe that's why
Blame the boobs then lol
Could be loads of reasons for the bad shoulder so don't obsess that it's cancer. Do you spend a lot of time on phone and computer?
