So for the last few weeks I have been so ill with my stomach, I have been completely unable to eat and lost 3 stone.
I have been getting these burning sensations around my body.
I have been to the hospital 3 times in the last 3 weeks and they keep telling me everything is normal, they have done bloods, tummy exams etc,
I have a strong pulse in my tummy and I'm terrified is an aortic aneurism.
The 3 doctors I saw in the hospital felt it and said it was strong because I was anxious, but the fact that I'm so sick with pains in my stomach and unable to eat my anxiety says it's super serious. Have any of you ever felt sick or had any of the symptoms I am describing, I know for a fact my anxiety is playing a big role in whatever's happened NG and knowing other people have my symptoms calms me down so I would so much appreciate any feedback as I'm 25 and have two beautiful children, my life is being consumed, I can't eat, sleep and just lay awake praying the pain in my stomach will stop..

Welcome to the site Harley, hopefully we can help you out. As I told the poster above yours, anxiety causes acid in your stomach. Try taking an acid suppressing pill, and some crackers or toast. Are you taking anything to relax you? My heart beats wildly from my anxiety. Yet if the Dr. listens to it, it's fine. Have you just started having this problem? Ruby🌹
I'm on some stomach tablets and I'm taking gavisgon regularly after meals, I can't really eat until the evening, at which point I have a small meal. I've had severe anxiety for the last 5 years where I've just constantly freaked out about my health, but it's only been the last 4 weeks that I've had this nausea and stomach pain.
Hi Harleycatpoison, the problem with the lay person today is that they know too much medical info for their own good. We need to leave the diagnosis up to the doctors who are well trained. The chances of a 25y.o. woman having an aortic aneurism is small. (more than small) Also the hospital doctors in the last 3 weeks, would be able to hear with a stethoscope any irregularities of the aortic valve. The strong pulse in your stomach can very well be from anxiety as well as the less amount of far on your stomach, the more the pulse can be felt. Please try to believe the doctors and start taking care of yourself. Afterall, you have 2 beautiful children waiting for mom to smile and play with them. Feel better.
That's really comforting thank you so much for your reply! My anxiety has completely gotten out of control, I think I'm dying all the time, I have to force myself to eat once a day but almost cry in pain with my stomach the rest of the day, I always feel cold but yet hott in my face, I'm just constantly panicking. I want to be normal again but reading through this forum has helped me so much over the past few weeks, I'm going for an ultrasound on my tummy as the latest doctor could see it pulsing through my tummy, I'm nearly 100% sure this is my anxiety but I have to make sure, I just want to be able to go back to normal, anxiety is so debilitating
Thank you! I have been drinking a f*ck load of camomile tea because I've read it has anti inflammatory properties and with my stomach feeling so crap I'm trying to stay away from ibuprofen, this is super hard as I have fibromyalgia which requires me to take large amounts of anti Inflammatory.
