Hard Heart beating.

I like many of you have dealt with the hard beating (not fast or high blood pressure)well and my dad has the same issue but he has zero anxiety. Anyways he's being sent to a cardiologist because his doctor was concerned about his hard heartbeat. I don't mean to trigger anyone with this but it kinda spooks me abit because I finally came to the conclusion that a hard heartbeat doesn't mean anything awhile back. But instead of whining and feeling sorry for myself all over again gonna focus on my dad. There's probably other elements to it. He does drink a pot of coffee a day and maybe his ekg showed something.

LDS32, let us know what the doctor says about your dad's heart beat. The caffeine from a pot of coffee a day could very well be his problem since he has no anxiety. wishing him well.

Thank you. He's had ruthym issues over the years and like I said no anxiety. But one thing we have in common is a slow heavy heartbeat. Normal blood pressure and such. But he is 24 years older than me so it could be any number of things or nothing at all. He's drinking coffee right now totally unphased. lol I wish I was that way

me too!...wish I was totally unphased that is!!, my husband exactly the same - maybe because I do all his worrying for him AND he knows it
