So I was wondering if any one knows if marijuana would help with anxiety/depression/OCD? I'm on Zoloft now but I still feel like crap most of the time

It helps some people, I however have had two very bad experiences. It could have been the percent of THC that was in it but I took a few hits and went inside and just watched some TV and I was two seconds away from going to the e.r so they could reverse the effects it was the worst thing I've ever experienced. I want to say i had a panic attack but it must have been a very bad one but Just typing this to you is making me freak out ahahh. But you will not know until you try. Start with a low percent of THC

Yes it can definitely help. Less than 15℅ THC helps with anxiety

It really just depends. I used to be able to smoke until my generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder came out in full effect. I have tried twice and both times only two hits and both times I instantly wish I hadn't. Same with drinking beer\wine. Some people can deal with it others can't. That's for you to try for yourself.

Me personally, I would say nooooooooo don't do it!!!! Lol. No seriously, that's exactly how I ended up on this site. I had a marijuana induced panic attack for the first time ever after smoking MJ for 6 months, and I haven't been the same since. After that panic attack I was traumatized so bad that I developed severe anxiety/panic disorder which led to depression and PTSD. I also suffered from derealization for 4-5 months post panic attack. It's not for everyone.

I would advise against it having had experience of it .. However, out in the shops is cannabis oil which has no THC .. I been using this and it helps calm one down .. You just don't get the high feeling which is a blessing. The high feeling always comes with a price. We make unwise decisions when we are high .. At least with the oil one can just relax and chill .. And what is note, it does not render one incapable of carrying out tasks like the actual leaf does

Please dont do it my son has got schizophrenia with using marijuana and his life is ruined. Not everyone ends up like that but its a risk you have to take if you start with that stuff.
