Same pains, different day! Need help.

I'm now on week 4 of intermittent chest, left arm and jaw pain. I've had 2 EKGs in the last 3 weeks and both were "perfect" a chest x-ray and my blood pressure is good. Does anyone else have any experience with these symptoms! I really don't know how much more I can take.

I've been dealing with the same thing for awhile now, the chest pain is from your muscles in your chest tightening due to shallow breathing. Try "belly breathing" it helps me Relax my muscles and control my breathing. When I first started experiencing this I thought I was having a heart attack and went to the ER they did an ekg, blood test etc. and they said I was totally healthy and they weren't worried. I know how you feel and what you're going through but hang in there, you'll be alright!

The pains are all so sporadic but they do happen frequently every day now. Some of the chest pains only last a few seconds and the upper left arm pain is worse than the other pains when it happens. I have googled SO much which I know hasn't helped!

Google can be a helpful tool but for people with anxiety it can totally make things worse. I Definitely have learned to stay off google, the best tool I use to calm down is reassurance. Stop what you are doing right now, Lie down and take a big sigh like as if someone told you something you didnt want to hear. Now take a big slow breath and push your stomach out like as if you were trying to fill a bowl with it. Pause for as long as it's comfortab, Then as you breathe out deflate you're stomach almost sucking in.

Do that for 5-10 mins and tell yourself in between, that you WILL be ok!

Good suggestions from Perea, just do it for 4-7-8 which means 4 seconds inhale (nose), 7 seconds hold and 8 seconds exhale (mouth). Do a google search on Deep breathing for more details. God Bless!
