Can having too much sugar as in a chocolate slab keep you awake and waking up in a panic? Thank you

Yes it can!!! It happens to me! I would suggest switching over to dark chocolate, for some reason dark chocolate doesn't have that effect at all

Sugar really throws me for a loop in many ways. I avoid it, but do enjoy some delish dark chocolate now and again. Honey is OK too if you don't overdo it. Neither of those will keep you up. Sugar, however, will disrupt sleep (for many it does).

Sugar at night gives me horrible nightmares which wake me up in a panic so I would say definitely yes.
