Hello everyone.
I had a slight panic attack yesterday and now it feels like something is stuck in my throat. The only way to really describe it is like swallowing a pill without enough water. Does anyone else get this symptom?
Hello everyone.

Yup I do. For me it's more like a burp stuck in the throat....
You know when you wanna cry and they use the saying, you're all choked up?? Its like that, i get it too. It's because you didn't get all your emotion out from the panic attack. Cry it out, it helps me a ton. And sometimes it truly can be gases like a stuck burp from all the panic. I know it doesn't feel great but it will pass and soon enough you will learn how to recognize your emotions or how your body reacts better and it happens less and less.
I once experienced this with anxiety, this happened a few years ago, I remember taking myself off to the doctors, he examined my throat and reassured me that it seemed perfectly ok, he gave me a prescription for meds to sooth this unpleasant feeling, I was better within a few days, consider asking your gp for advice,
I get this when I have bad anxiety. I feel like there is a big lump in my throat or like a little flap that just sits there.. It does goes away after I am done getting worked up. I think that's normal tho with anxiety.
