Virus making my anxiety worse

I'm new here and don't want to sound like I'm moaning but some reassurance would be nice. I've been in bed with a high temperature over the last two days which has left me feeling really weak, achy and my stomach is very delicate. My anxiety is much worse than normal; I feel rooted to the spot, too scared to move and my body is constantly tense and back aching. Can being ill make anxiety worse?

Yes it can, i have a flu right now and i'm feeling the same.it's okay our bodies just need rest, i'm sure that by tommorow we will feel better, just don't think too much why are you feeling bad, it's normal that you don't feel okay with high fever relax and get some rest, you will be okay
