I feel like I am anxious all the time like I can't focus my head hurts and my hands shake almost all day.. I am so tired of this I can't enjoy anything. I also feel really depressed feeling. And like I am not here

have you gotten any meds? even a small benzo script can help with this.

I am on Prozac 8day on 20mg I just feel worst then when I started I think

So you're with a doc, that's good! They have to experiment until they get it right and it's a shame that we are the guinea pigs but we are all different. go back and tell them what you feel. they really do expect that because this is different for everyone. they are trying things out and want to help you get it right. Call your doc so they can adjust.

Hi sf queen am also on Prozac 20 mg , four weeks in , an I no how your feeling i have had the worst time myself , but you got to go worse before it starts working , go on the group Flouxitine an read people's story's it's helped me , good look I feel for you xx

Better than I was hun but it is awful what u go through the first couple of weeks , I think the doctors she tell you what to expect , but Iv been on them four weeks an it as got better it just a time thing ,

You have all the classic symptoms of anxiety and the feeling of "not being here" usually happens when the anxiety is severe

Don't despair you can feel well again and enjoy life

From today treat yourself in the same way as you would any other illness If you had a broken leg you would accept you couldn't walk on it and it had to heal that's exactly how you must feel about anxiety

Firstly accept you have it Its extremely common you aren't going mad and you have to be very kind to yourself and heal

Read as much as you can about anxiety loads on the internet

Losing your fear of the feelings is the key

Do relaxation techniques as often as you can You Tube have hundreds of videos Michael Sealey is brilliant

There is a video on YouTube by Dr Harry Barry its called Doctor Explains Panic Attacks and how to stop them

It's very comforting

DARE by Barry McDonagh and any books by Dr Claire Weekes are fantastic and will motivate and reassure you

Remember none of the feelings you have will do you any harm

Be really kind think of you and don't fight it if your hands shake for a while let them shake if you can't concentrate don't worry you soon will be able to

Relaxation and losing the fear that is the key to it all
