Yes anxiety can make you feel shortness of breathe especially when you think about it and dwell on it.. Hope things get better! I was up almost all night a few nights ago feeling like I couldn't breathe! If it gets so bad I would give your doctor a call.. Maybe your getting sick or something.
Jose13717, even if you forget, your body is breathing for you automatically. You are focusing on something that is naturally done. It is anxiety that makes you do that. You are breathing fine.

You are not forgetting how to breathe, you are holding your breath without realizing it. It happens when we are extremely anxious or bottling up too many emotions. Cry out what needs to come out and face what you are holding in. I went through it too. It will get better...☺ don't worry.
Hi Jose try not to worry you will always be able to breathe just like your heart will always keep beating
It's just that you are noticing it We never think about blinking but once we do we become aware of it try it !
It's exactly the same with breathing If you don't focus on it you will forget it
Easier said than done but your lungs won't give up on you

I hyperventilate sometimes I didn't even know .. I have too catch my breath dr said I'm over breathing not letting e Pugh out . It's only when I really stressed I guess . It will pass as like all out other symptoms
