Sleep paralysis

Has eney one ever experienced sleep paralysis happend to me last nite it was so scary nearly gave me a panic attack.

yes iv had that a couple of times in my life. its as though your awake and cant move, i remember trying to move but i just could not move and finally i was able to move but i got a real fright. i tried to find out about it as this was years ago i had it, and i learned that it was called night nurses paralysis, that was many years ago. seemingly night nurses got it because they were so tired or something,it is quite common and very very scary. i hope you dont get it again but its nothing serious. love grace xoxoxo

Thank you it was only a couple of seconds. I wa trying to shout out my partners name but it was like nuffin would come out very scary feeling hope it don't happen tonite. Thanks for your reply x

katyjoa, it's your bodies way of protecting you from hurting yourself while you are sleeping, unfortunately it stays very vivid in our minds until we wake up. As grace111 said, it is not serious, just scary.
