Trying to Recover.

After suffering a Breakdown i think you cant come back complete. Once you've lost your bottle it stays lost. My confidence has gone and it shows terribly i give off a nervous vibe straight away and because I am broken i have had my fair share of being Bullied. My father was the worse severe daily bullying has destroyed my confidence. Hiding behind alcohol will only work for a short while and lead you down a spiraling path of destruction so I do not recommend that at all. I am broken and I hate it it has taken my soul. Living on a council estate where men get by by showing who you are through fighting has made my life much worse.. People around me know I have been broken and some smirk others stopped talking to me  in my case time doesn't heal. All I can do is learn to live with this curse.

Dodo 777, I've seen your post lots on here .. You always seem to put others first.. Especially your son!! For that you must be a true gent... Any father whom puts their child first is a St !! I hope that one day you will get through this dark time .. Anxiety , panic , depression .. They are all tests of the strongest humans ... We struggle every day ... But we will get through it and we'll remain united ... It will not beat us!!! Keep strong my friend... We are all with you...

No, I don't believe that "once you've lost your bottle it stays lost." I do however believe that a person is left with a future vulnerability especially if the correct, long-term treatment is not forthcoming.

A suffer also needs to be hyper-vigilant regarding their health. They need to put into place daily health-measures that will help them maintain optimal mental health. The first and best place is to start with the mind and our/your thinking processes.

Okay, so where you live is not conducive to better mental health. My living arrangements aren't either unfortunately. Generally speaking, people who live on council estates are a product of their upbringing. They're locked into a vicious circle of poverty and everything that it entails. Some give up and stay in that welfare mentality.

Despite their painful personal histories, others, like youself, have grown, developed, evolved. Well done Dodo!!!!! And if people talk about you etc? BIG deal, so what!!! Just keep your gaze focussed straight ahead with your head held high and your shoulders straight. And remember: if these so-called "men" - who generally have a pack mentality -aren't talking about you, then they're talking about someone else. It's what gives their lives meaning. I actually feel very sorry for folks like this and I shudder to think about the type of kids they're raising because they're the ones who will suffer as well some time down the track unless they can break the vicious cycle they've been born into 😔

I don't believe in council estates. I absolutely detest them with a PASSION. I wish they were all razed to the ground and be done with. To me, they're just large-scale breeding grounds for discontent and pain.

But anyway, Dodo, YOU are the exception rather than the rule so in this rejoice! You've come a LONG loooong way and have EVOLVED into a new person despite your difficult start in life. I think you're grand, I really do. I also think your son is lucky to have you 👍
