Has anyone ever have a panic attack that down the road caused depression?

Yes. I think primarily my anxiety/panic attacks have caused me to be depressed. I often get anxious about being anxious which may sound daft but I'm always worried about 'what if' and then I sometimes feel scared to go out just in case i panic which then gets me down. Sometimes I can do deep breathing to calm myself but sometimes I find it impossible to do. Don't know if my reply has helped but just wanted you to know that you are not alone.

9/10 the answer is yes I didn't get anxiety till my depression kicked in we may not be aware we have depression but chances r we have some sort of underlining depression for anxiety to kick in that's what I think not everyone will probably agree with me but I think one or the other kicks the other up x
