Sometimes, especially when I'm panicking or about to panic, my head and neck feel super tight and I can barely move them. Moving them makes me dizzy. It feels like they're super super tight. It makes me worry I'm going to become paralyzed or have a stroke or something.

Does anyone ever have trouble with their head/neck muscles?
Yes I get that daily!
I'm so sorry but I'm glad I'm not alone! haha
Hi someone, My neck and head are my biggest problem. My neck is so super tight that it actually burns at times. Moving my head down for reading or looking up is impossible without feeling dizzy. I understand it and realize it is from the muscles being so intensely tight that I don't think of becoming paralyzed or having a stroke because it is not coming from the blood vessels or arteries. I am very protective of my neck and use heat to relax the muscles and deep breathing helps as well. But it is an everyday occurrence. We have anxiety to thank for this Wishing you well. xx
Thank you, that's very comforting. (:
tight neck muscles are huge with anxious people. and they do cause all sorts of weird sensations in the head, back, ears, etc. youd never think to relate to these things. its important to kind of keep them as limber as possible to help keep those symptoms from coming. hot bath with epsom salts, hot rice bag at night.. i get my boyfriend to give me massages pretty frequently and even pay to go see a RMT for a neck and shoulder release every couple months. Its really helped me. I used to get dizziness, burnung sensations, full feeling in my ear, buzzing in my ear etc etc etc.. but since ive been taking care of myself i havent gotten any of these symptoms.
Thanks! I'll ask my boyfriend if he'll go for it lol
Nope its all the anxiety, muscles tense up, my necks been bugging me all day, and then it was accompanied by headaches woot. On the bright side I'm not panicking about it.
