Diazepam

Hi everyone I've been to my doctors today for several issues regarding my anxiety.anyway she has prescribed me a few diazepam to help me when I get on a plane,I have to take one at some point just to see how I am,but I forgot to ask how soon before I board should I take it,I know it can cause drowsiness.x

Glad you went and got this sorted out 

I have taken them before and for me I would say an hour to two hours before you board the plane , they can make you feel a little drowsy but even if you take them 2 hours before not enough that you won't be able to get on the plane but hopefully they will just take the edge of 

I am looking forward to hearing all about your holiday as I think once you get through this fear you are going to have a great time

Thanks very much bounce there only 2mg so not a big dosage she's give me 8 but said to try one when I feel like it but she doesn't see any reason for me to have any problems.im always wary trying any new meds as I've had a few scares with side effects,yeah it will be great to just take the edge off my fear.im going back for bloods to see if there's a reason I feel like I've a cloudy head and generally not myself at the moment,I will get there eventually x

I have a meds fear and I take them and if I can take them I would say anyone can lol 

Maybe you could try just one before your holiday to see how it makes you feel because we are all different but would give you something to work with how they will work for you ?

Hope your blood tests all come back fine , anxiety can make us so tired but getting them checked is a good thing a little MOT to make sure we are not low in iron or anything can be reassuring x

Yeah my doctor suggested just taking it one day at home like she said my anxiety won't be as high but at least I know how my body will react to them.thanks I've had anemia in the past so it's best getting a little MOT lol to check everything is ok.x

Bounce I'm just wondering did you feel ok taking your first tablet? I'm doing my trial tablet this weekend and I'm slightly anxious on what to expect when I take it.x
