Worried about getting food poisoning

Okay so I'm freaking out right now. I cut raw chicken tonight and when I was doing the dishes I cut my finger (very small cut basically like a paper cut) on tbe knife that used raw chicken, my hands were already in hot water with washing up liquid and I washed them twice afterwards too but I'm so worried it can give me salmonella or make me ill! Can someone please help!

O no no no you cannot get salmonella like that 

You get it from eating raw chicken or not wiping the surfaces you use or not defrosting the meat if it has been frozen but I have never yet come across anyone that has got it from a cut when handling chicken so please stop worrying you will be fine
