Ugh. I can't have coffee, chocolate, red wine, cheese, boohoo! I after I ate 3 pieces of Gertrude Hawk dark chocolate covered coconut, my headache was bad, anxiety through the roof, hopefully this will not be the case sooner rather than later. I love chocolate and red wine!

With my diagnoses of PCS, and the others, no chocolate :(
Hi Suesclues, I omitted those as well when I use to get horrendous migraines.
Now with the anxiety, I only drink decaf coffee, no red wine and I eat cheese
with no ill effects. However I will not give up my Chocolate. It's my only
comfort food that I have. I don't smoke or drink and now even off benzos.
I know they say chocolate makes you feel good at the moment and then your
sugar levels drop making you anxious. And the fact that there is caffeine in
milk chocolate and more in dark chocolate. If they took my chocolate away
I would cry boohoo too.
Oh...I'm sorry, that's right. I had forgotten about that.
Well that's a different situation being both medical as
well as having anxiety. Your doctor must have a reason
for telling you to omit these things. I hope that it helps
with your headaches and maybe your anxiety as well.
