I'm having that now and my ecg's have all come back clear also, my hearts racing like mad 😢
I had svt and was not diagnosed for a while due to them not catching it. If your heart continues to pound go to a & e while it's happening they can tell for an ecg if it's normal palpitations or anything else. Please don't panic that will make your symptoms worse. Also check your pulse and know your rate. My svt was prolonged and heart rate at resting was 240 per minute. If it happens frequently you can request a echo monitor at home to record your heart rate. After my heart operation I had one for 72 hours as I was convinced my operation had failed. However my palpitations were anxiety this time good luck and stay calm x
It sounds like anxiety, but that's my take from comparing your story to my own experiences. I tend not to trust the doctor's diagnosis and think that my case is one of the rare cases where they miss something. This get's me all spun up and *Wham* hello panic attack and anxiety fits. Heart racing, sweaty, scared, clammy, panicking, morbid thoughts.. and so on. I've learned calming techniques and found relief..but that was after thousands of dollars of tests. ECG,s ER visits. CT Scan, MRI Scan, X-Rays, Therapists, Spirometry tests, Pulmonary function evaluations, Peak flow value diag, blood work.......and after all that every doctor had the exact same diagnosis: I'm just overly anxious.
Have the tests done, be sure they're are not missing anything. If they don't find anything (which I pray they don't) then focus on trying to relax. Instead of asking yourself why can't you feel normal, ask yourself how can I feel less health anxious. My health anxiety was, and still is, an huge issue that takes constant work to overcome. But, the good news is that anxiety can be overcome. Be sure that you're healthy, no one can understand your body better than you...just be sure to be aware enough to recognize if you may be helping your symptoms. Stress and anxiety are incredibly powerful and can mimic almost any physical symptom. I hope you find peace, and good luck!
