Anxiety is making me feel like there's something really wrong with me.

Hi! I'm Kayleigh I'm new to the site I'm 17 years old. I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks now for almost a year. Recently they have gotten much worse and are worrying me. The symptoms are so physical and draining I'm beginning to feel as if I'm dying. My symptoms are numbness (usually only on the left side, my left arm and left leg specifically) weakness, sometimes I feel nauseous in my stomach and throat, dizziness and I also suffer from symptoms every day such as a lump in my throat or tightness, headaches (which are only a few niggling pains and would go, but are quite sore) I have just experienced a panic attack a while ago, my left leg and arm went numb and I felt nauseous, short on breath, and a pulsing in my throat, and I thought I was going to die. My real problem is I'm always worrying my anxiety and panic attacks are too physical to just be anxiety and panic attacks and.im always nervous that there's something really wrong with me. Does anyone get these symptoms almost every day? Is it really just anxiety and panic attacks? I need reassurance. Thank you

Hi, I'm sorry you feel this way, I get these symptoms all the time, along with others. Have you been to the doctors about your symptoms? X

Hi, yes I've been to the doctors and was put on beeta blockers. Now I'm currently on venlafaxine. X

Hi, I get symptoms most days lump in throat feeling , dizzy, headache, sicky feeling and lots of others.

I get symptoms everyday, and I can't stop thinking about them and worrying. Have you been referred for any therapy? X
