I've been diagnosed with anxiety for awhile now . And I feel like it's affecting my relationship , I've been with this guy for almost a year & he treats me like an absolute princess. & I'm seeming to have trouble getting really connected with him. In my last relationship I was with this guy & he messed with my head alot & treated me badly. is it because of my bad past relationship & anxiety that I'm having trouble getting really connected to him ?

It probably has a lot to do with it. Not all people are the same. It sounds like within a year's time this present guy is treating you well but the "what if" comes out. You can't force yourself to connect with someone. Being cautious or doubtful is one thing but it seems like you might not be sure as well. Go with your heart. I wish you well in going forward.
