Hi. I am sorry you feel lonely and afraid. I find it a bit difficult to know what to advise as I notice you are from U.S.A. where the system of health care is different from here in UK. For you, a lot depends on your personal circumstances in terms of health insurance or ability to pay. But I am sure that even there you should be able to consult your primary care giver for advice on what options for medical and psychological help you have.
Obviously in this group we can offer understanding, support and emotional comfort if that helps. Actually, the things you mentioned in your post sound very treatable - nothing sounds like a worst case scenario type of illness. Of course if you are alone and afraid, everything seems huge and difficult. Do you have no family or friends who will rally round and advise you?
I am reall sorry that I have not been much use to you. All I can say is to repeat what I said earlier - to consult your gp for information on what is available to help you. I hope that things improve for you.
Hello...When you did drugs as a teen, did you get off them with help? I'm assuming you are completely off those drugs. You say you have anxiety from other health problems. You do need to see a GP so you know what you are presently dealing with.
The doctor may be able to refer a therapist who could help you with the anxiety part.
