Anxious and feeling sick

Help... My daughter has her xmas play on thursday and i am dreading it i always feel anxious and sick all the way till the end can anyone give me some tips please.

have you tried controlled breathing? breathe in for 3 and out for five or if you can in for 7 and out for eleven. Do this ten times at least. We all have vivid imaginations, I don't know whether you feel anxious for her or whether it is attending the school with a lot of other people. It helps to imagine a little video of you arriving feeling calm and confident and everything going really well.

Hope you manage to enjoy it ( even if not till it's over!!

Not tryed that but will definitely will try i thinks it because its gonna be very busy just want it to be over and done with fingers crossed il get over feeling sick.

I'm sure you've read that all the physical signs we get when anxious are our bodies getting us ready to run for it. Very useful in the jungle when being chased by a tiger but not so good for the stuff we worry about these days. The trouble is in primitive times all the laid back guys who said "tiger , no worries" got eaten so we are all descendants of the ones who responded to their fears and ran!! If it's the fact that it's going to be busy you need a plan. Sit somewhere where you COULD leave without clambering over people. You won't have to I'm sure but knowing you could and the world won't end will help you. Another daft idea but it helps me is to eat a banana if you get times when you aren't feeling sick.
