What does xzanax do

Hi everyone I'm really fed up with my anxiety I'm trying real hard to fight it my.doc.gave me xzanax I'm thinking of giving them a go are they any harm

Hi There, Xanax is a Benzo drug I was on clonazepam for around four months but only took it on a need to take basis which is when I was at my worst days on four months I've cut up no more then 20mg they was 1mg each and I've used up around twenty pills no more then that I've cut them into 1/4 sometimes 1/8 which is no more then 0.25mg and 0.125mg of the 1mg and it worked for me .. Benzo's work wonders but the only thing is they can be addicting and if you take them long enough they could cause withdrawal symptoms and they ain't none to play with ... I stopped taking them before I would become addicted or have any hard withdrawals from them this is my experience with the Benzo .... Now if your Doctor prescribed them to you or your psych then I believe they know what they are doing... But I honestly don't recommend them for a everyday relief the best thing to do is to try natural supplements also try juicing and eating healthy .. Warm showers also if possible massages to release the stress from the body once a week and Acupuncture twice a month to relieve painful nerves and stress from the body I started juicing after I stopped my mess with my psych consent I took it slowly and Ive been free from Meds two weeks now went through some withdrawals from the buspar and clonazepam but since I did not take it long enough and actually the amount and time between doses was days in between not everyday only on emegencies my withdrawals which I'm still going through have been a bit ok compared to others .. But I'm glad to be med free and the juicing and eating healthy and my supplements ... Before trying the Meds I would try going natural but if it's too much then do what's best for you and your health... Hope this can be of a help also I would tell your Doctor to put you on buspar before any other med do research on buspar ... Thanks so.much for your reply mine were 250 mg xananax I cut it in half last night I keep having this feeling of choking I don't eat well and feel.like shit I just want to get better for my daughters sake I also smoke alot.and find it hard to give up I will when I get a bit better don't like taking any tabs at all waiting on counciling. Thanks for your opinion any ways il keep it in mind and won't take them often was on citrol had bad symptoms so won't take them my ears also feel deaf I wish all these things would go away also have terrible headache after tablet

Zanax is for your anxious mind and panic attacks. You may or may not become dependent on them but that is the case with many meds. Your doctor evidentally thought this would help you. Work closely with your Dr and take exactly as prescribed. You and your doctor will make the decision when to stop and he will help you taper off. I took zanax and had no trouble getting off them. I was taking .025 mg two times a day. I had bad heart palpitations, wasn't hungry and insomnia. Helped me alot. Just work with your Dr on this and remember some meds work for some and not others. Xanax is a godsend of all Benzos if used properly. The thing with Xanax is that it works quickly and that's what can make it addicting but the fact is, it does work. Follow your doctor's orders but also don't be afraid to ask questions as to dose size, frequency and how long you will be on it. It's a wonderful drug to use for a respite of your symptoms. I would stay away from xanax. If you have to take a benzo, I would try ativan or even clonazepam. They are are all controlled, and addictive but xanax has a more rapid onset and wears off quicker. Clonazepam has a longer half-life. I've been taking it for 8 years. It keeps me from having attacks. I take 1 mg, twice a day. Also, there is NO 250 MG Xanax lol! It starts at .25 mg and goes up to 2 mg. Ativan also stars at .25 and goes to 2 as well as clonazepam (I don't know if it starts at .25 or .5) Valium comes in 2mg, 5mg and 10mg. Talk to a doctor, and if he gave you a benzo, you probably need it. It's not all that easy to get xanax in Texas, like EVER! So it seems like your doc thought it would help.
