Heart beat out of control!

I woke up in the middle of last night and my heart was beating so so fast. I couldnt alleviate it no matter what I did. My feet got cold and I felt the life was leaving my legs and if i tried to move it felt like I would faint and my hands shook alot. Does this happen to anyone else? How do I cure this 😯😦😥😩. Very upset.

Hello, sorry to hear that you are having problems. I suggest you go to your GP and ask for a check up. I have had the same problems in the past and I know that they are very scary. At the moment I am under the care of a cardiologist because I'm having palpitations. Best of luck. Take care Carol.

Yes. I have been getting the same thing off and on probably for 10 yrs. Very scary. I went to my dr a couple yrs ago and he seemed to think it was changing positions quickly during the night. I would wake up pretty much leaping out of bed. Heart would be pounding i felt breathless and like i could faint at any second. I was diagnosed with panic and anxiety 4 yrs ago. This could have been panic related the whole time. I wish you the best. Go to the dr if your worried. Please let me know what you find out.

I went to the doctor. When I had this issue a few weeks ago and it stopped. He told me to get a blood test and all came normal. So I didn't go after that because he said it could be a hyper active thyroid or anemia. It was none. For me its like I'm having a dream and its a disturbing dream but I don't remember it when i wake up and whenecer I wake up like this my heart is beating so fast i think it'll explode. And my feet feel like they're getting lifeless. And I can't move or walk much. I can barely talk. I feel faintish and numb. And once I focus on something else it all goes away. And then my body relaxes like after an adrenaline rush. It's crazy.
