Operation tomorrow helppppp!

I haven't been on for a while but tomorrow I'm getting put to sleep and I am so so so scared can anyone reassure me?

I'm getting a general anaesthetic I mean at the hospital!! Getting v v nervous!!

hi sara i share your fear of hospitals i usually ask for a pre med to relax me before .i go to theatre ! the staff will look after you.but explain to them that you are very anxious i believe they will try to help put you as ease they will deal with nervous patients all the time ! please get back to me.and let me know.how you get on david !

What's the pre med like? I'm more worried about just completely freaking out and crying and just being a state than the actual op I think! I deal with pain pretty well I'm just worried about being really confused when I wake up and having a panic attack!!

So I've just got home from having my operation and I am so so relieved. I had 2 panic attacks though but I expectsed that and they weren't too bad. I don't even remember really going to sleep and I feel okay now. Just shows that nothing is really as bad as we think it is in our heads! Cxx
