Anxiety - Dizziness, high eye pressure and shoulder/arm pain.

Hi. I've been suffering with some very strange symptoms recently. Have had a diagnosis of high ocular pressure in my right eye, and been feeling quite dizzy where I have to lie down. Ive also been suffering with achey arms and shoulders (more so on left side) and was wondering if anyone else has suffered these with stress/anxiety. Thanks.

Does the pain in your shoulder sometimes move to your back and chest and feel like a dull ache ?

Hi. The pains have been in my back somewhat too, but not in my chest. I have had an MRI lower and mid thoracic but nothing so abnormal seen (just ddd on lumbar area. But I do feel sometimes that the pains do move around???

Hi, I suffer from muscle pain due to anxiety. Especially in my neck and shoulders. Your shoulders are probably where you hold your tension and as you know anxiety can cause high levels of stress which is most likely creates your dizziness as well. Anxiety can cause a wide array of symptoms that range from annoying to terrifying. The important thing to know is it is anxiety and if you were in danger you would know.

Yeah thank you. I'm going through major life changes right now , just moved house, have an 11 month baby, getting married next year etc. So hopefully it will all subside soon. Is there anything that make your pains more bearable?

Mine are aches in shoulders/arms sometimes hands, various aches in areas of back, (mainly upper), sometimes sore skin even when touched, and dizziness like I'm not able to focus properly. Not nice at all.

I feel for you. Mine are like a dull ache in my collerbone sometimes moving to my back. A sore chest and headache. I also very rarely feel like eating. Are you on any meds

Yes it has been in my collarbone before too. Bless you. No meds, just aspirin if really bad. Are you taking any meds at all?

I'm on anti depressants at the moment. Only started on them on tuesday last week so just waiting for them to kick in really
