Some nights, and sometimes during the day, I get terrible butterflies in my stomach and they last for hours. I know it's a symptom of fear, but I don't know what I fear. Anyone else gets these butterflies for no reason?

Butterflies in the stomach
The Anxiety disease seems to float to every organ in the body. You get headaches, then trouble swallowing, then IBS like symptoms, breathlesness, a rash you name it. My dad had early heart problems (52) thats when my own heart started throwing every thing at me it could. Pain, pressure, rapid, skipping thats been my main symptom since 1982. Anxiety will cause evry possible symptom from hysterical blindness to thoughts of harming your baby to anger and aggitation. My best suggestion, run do not walk to your Dr. if you dont have one the ER or community counseling center, a school, college whatever. Early treatment is best.
I was diagnosed with GAD in august and the first couple of months suffered the fluttering in my stomach, although I didn't feel anxious about anything in particular, nothing i did would get rid of it, would wake at 2 in the morning with it, it did however finally go, I still suffer from anxiety but don't get the feeling at all now, so I think yours will go eventually. Yes I do. They have been there 24/7 for at least 5 years. First I ignored them but now I can't. Wish they'd just stop.
