Weird... i was having a wonderful morning with my husband. Fight free and out looking at garrage sales picking up bargains.. he dropps me off home to go food shopping while he runs off to the wrecking yard. I come inside put my phone on charge and start writing my shopping list whilst eating a banana and drinking water. Decide to read a page or two of my book and get a sharp pain above my right eye, my vision blurs and my heart starts racing.. my hands go clammy and sweaty and i lie down to suddenly need to do number 2's. I call hubby to come home. I start shaking/twitching in bed and am suddenly cold but still sweating. My heart still racing on and off. I end up calming and drift off to sleep. Now i just have a slight headache and feel a bit spacey... i eat bananas all the time but not from coles as i know they do spray thier fresh food to stay fresh. Do u think i had a miagraine which i never have, anxiety attack or allergic reaction...? Im baffled. Anyone else had these feelings???? Thanks guys x

Hi Olive

It sounds like an allergic reaction but the syptoms are also that of anxiety so I am sure a trip down the doctors to request an allergy test will probably shed some light on the matter. Some people develop allergies to things they have eaten all their life so it is possible that you may have had a reaction to the banana. Blurred vision is normally associated with anxiety and migraines but it is always best to make a note of the symptoms and let your doctor know.

Good luck

Dimitri

Thanks Dimitri. I had a allergen test a few months ago and am only allergic to some grasses (mildly). I have had another sleep and sat up for ten and accomponied my husband watching bathurst. My headache started again conveniently...lol. so i am definitely relating it to a miagraine and because i never get them it caused panic/anxiety like symptoms too. Bloody worried me at the time though..

A new feeling or experience often tends to trigger of a bit of panic. Sounds like it is a migraine or a headache of some sort! Lets hope they are not a regular occurance for you! Glad you are ok now and feeling better : )

I had an allergic reaction to banana a while back when I ate loads so it could be that although I went wheezy. When I get migraines, I often get a upset tummy so it could be that. Best thing to do is get advice from your doctor.

Hi there :)

This does sound like anxiety to me.

What you have just described are common symptoms.

Check out calm.com and headspace

These are both very good at keeping things calm.

I do calm.com every morning and evening and when ever I need it.

Keep a journal to empty mind.

But if you are concerned, I'd pop down to the doctors. X

You need to get your blood sugar levels checked. You sound like me. I have high insulin levels. Bananas are high in sugar and all the symptoms you discribed are the same symptoms I get when my body stats shooting out to much insulin again.

You have to make sure you do it correctly though. My glucose levels came out perfect but then I had my insulin level checked and it was sky high.
