Hi Pink,
Did your doctor say anything when you got the holter?
I had one once and the cardiologist said he didn't expect to find anything.
Are you getting it just to be sure? (I don't come on here often so I don't know your story, sorry.)
In any case, if there is a problem, it was already there, but you weren't aware of it. After this you will be and can do something about it.
And if nothing is found, you don't have to worry anymore.
Hope this helps, I don't know anything better to say...
Take care, Sterre
Hey sterre
I'm at my apt right now waiting for my turn and I've actually had 3 or 4 EKGs and 3 or 4 complete bloodwork and also hooked up to a heart monitor in the hospital for a few hours and drs keep telling me I'm fine.
They tell me it's anxiety and panic attacks.
A few of my symptoms are
Heart palpitations
Racing/pounding heart
Chest pain
Low heart rate sometimes
Hey bangerz
Thanks or the reply and I am trying to relax but it's not easy.

Yes I have heart palpitations
Racing/pounding
Chest pain
Low heart rate sometimes
And those are just a few of the symptoms I get with my anxiety
Hello,
If you have had all these procedures you should be feeling more relaxed and understanding regarding your problem. Possibly some relaxation techniques may help you relax more, discuss something like that with your GP, He may be able to suggest some way forward to help you.
BOB
Hello Bob
You think I would feel more relaxed but I don't. I just feel more on edge than anything and I feel crappy most the time. Wish I knew how to deal with it better.
And no I don't actually do any relaxation techniques as much as I should
Yes I know that the evil anxiety wants me to give into it. I try not to. I try my hardest to fight it but it's hard when you feel horrible most the time
Yes I know that's the key to getting better as I've learned that in my self help program.
It's hard to be positive when I wake up as I feel so anxious in the mornings
Hi Donna,
It's a while since we chatted, I'm not on here much anymore. But, I wondered how you are going. I see some of your posts and you're saying you're not all that great. I'm sorry to hear that, as you were going fairly well for a while there.
I also see you got your monitor, I can't give you any advice on that because I've never had one. Is that a heart rhythm monitor? I'll bet the results are all good! You actually do have a heart and now you're getting proof of it!
The good results should tell you that you're ok, but it won't tell you to STOP WORRYING! So I'll tell to STOP WORRYING! Above all, stop focusing on the symptoms (and maybe the cause, too) That's sort of why I don't get on here much anymore. I want to move on and get over this thing and I think, as much as it helped in the beginning, I think now, reading about everyone else's problems, just helps me stay focused on my problem, rather than moving on from it.
How is your book going? The heart monitor? I hope you are doing ok. I'm doing ok, I have my good days and my not so good days, but generally, they're mostly good, thankfully.
Take care,
Peter.
