Hi Nelly,

I know exactly how you feel, I felt exactly the same on celexa, it took at least six weeks for me to feel less anxious, It made me feel awful at first, tired, heightened anxiety, nauseous, wasn't good!

Hang in there though it does work eventually if you stick with it :)

That's the thing with SSRI's, they take a while to work, but when they do they're pretty good, I personally had to stop taking celexa though as after taking 10mg, it stopped working after about 3 months, then I went up to 15mg, but I was waaaay too tired to even function!

I then started having hypotherapy which gradually helped me to wean off of the celexa, with a mix of how tired I was all the time I couldn't wake up at all, even with so many alarms going off in my ears.

I'm now glad I stopped taking them as the side effects were too much for me.

Hoping they work better for you though, give it six weeks to feel the full effects and hopefully they'll work a treat :) and that you wont have the horrible side effects like I did! Hard to believe they'll work at first though I understand exactly how you feel!

Good luck and best wishes,

Lanah x
