CBT THERAPY
hi there:}
I've done CBT.
Its the best thing I've done:}
Yes you can do CBT on your own; there is a book called "Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for dummies".
You can get it from Amazon.
This is a very good book and it is very easy to use.
Also have a look at Mindfulness, there is a section in the book that covers this,but there are lots of websites such as Headspace that are very good.
Using CBT and Mindfulness together is a very good way on getting back on track.
Good Luck x
Hi,
I'm undergoing CBT at the moment and honestly, I am so glad I am. It has helped me so much and I don't think that personally, I would have made the progress I have done if I hadn't learnt the techniques I have through CBT.
Another book that could be useful for you is The Happiness Trap by Dr. Russ Harris. It was recommended to me through CBT and honestly, its really helping me to make sense of what I've learnt. It is based on mindfulness and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) and it looks at things like expansion which basically helps you to make room for the feelings you experience instead of trying to get rid of or suppress them.
Hope that helps

there's an online version, just search moodGYM and you'll find it. It's great.
