How do people deal with that first thought that starts the anxiety off? It's always that initial first little feeling or not feeling well twinge etc then my mind always thinks the worse and off we go again full on symptoms and another two days in bed.

Anxiety first thought.
learning to recognise what the trigger is can be hard unfortunately it can be anything even the smallest thing. What we have to do is learn what to do after that first twinge, that is where CBT and other therapies come into play we all need a hand at times.
take care Kenny
HI Miami x Oh thats a tough question in some ways, as Kenny said getting the trigger is hard, I tend to find mine can be set off by mood, if I am feeling low I pick up the twinges easily in my mind but other days I can ignore them x When they do come, I write about how I feel in full in a diary and then the next time it builds a pattern to hopefully get that trigger xx DOnver x
Kenny is right there and I find that if you except it first of all and say hi there to the anxioty you can stop panic I breath and say to myself calm it's ok then I will do a relaxation PMR works great for me
And I'm blipping tonight as well
Take care
Yes it's that one twinge, pins and needles in arm, twinge in the chest, heart rate change...then everything else follows, I've tried relaxing, keeping busy, reading ...if anxiety wants to be there it will, just have to ride it out
