...Due to a huge amount of mucus in my throat. I've just stopped Mirtazapine, and now my throat is literally gushing with phlegm. I can only breath again when I clear my throat, but the mucus just comes back 5 seconds later and makes it hard to take a deep breath once more. It gets worse first thing in the morning and after excercise. What can I do? I'm terrified of LPR, and this feels just like it..!

I literally cannot take a deep breath...
Hi Daxter.
Sorry to hear your having problems, do you think it is because you have stopped your medication, I have never taken that particular one so I don't know if it is the cause of the mucus. I would advise you to see your GP you may need an anti hystemine. I hope you get it sorted soon.

Hi Daxter
I can suffer with a lot of mucus , it seems to be from my nose & trickles into my throat
This could be due to allergies or so I have read
Obviously though when you feel its stuck & you need to get it out you can feel like its taking your breath away & then any anxiety we are feeling feels worse
Have you tried steaming ?
If it keeps been a problem even if you have already go & see your GP there are things they can give you to help
Hope you feel a lot better today
Love
