Recently I had done a blood test and while anxiously awaiting the results, a panic attack got into me and never felt like this before. I went berserk , trying my very best to keep my head under control. The test result was normal and I felt relieved but I seem to have a post anxiety symptom. I have headaches when concentrating on something for too long and at times I felt giddy at the back of my head. Anyone experiencing the same thing and is there a solution to it ?

First panic attacks in 28 years...
Welcome. My anxiety began after the first panic attack I had, about 6 months ago.I practice deep breathing and I'm waiting for therapy.
Hi and nice to meet you. Yes I get that it was worse when I was younger, my head used shake when I was having a drink. I still get a very stiff neck and the headaches aren't as bad either. I discovered it was all down to holding my shoulders and neck stiff all the time, not used to make me go dizzy aswell.
Also I got headaches because my eyes needed testing so my glasses got stronger.
So your headaches and giddiness could be muscle tension. I would still have a word with your GP just to confirm this.
Take care xxx
Hi there
Well youve done well to overt the panic for 28 years , so you must be doing something right
I think feeling anxious while waiting for results which is a worrying time is quite normal so dont beat yourself up about that.... the fact they were normal is brilliant!! So maybe sometime for relaxation and or a new hobby to occupy your mind?? Ive just taken up knitting and it really helps!!
Take care ....Ker xx
