It's just been one of these day's.... when pain and anxiety don't really go together...
Am in a really bad place today....
But hey, what can we do to help it, when these day's happen?
I normally try and rest!!!!
Another thing I find when we are having a bad day with anxiety, the end of the that very long tunnel has got even longer!!!!
What do you do, when your having a bad day or days?

Sorry to hear your having a bad day, I usually listen to music I find it helps, but its hard to relax when your in pain I hope it eases soon.

Afternoon Joe,
I tend to either come on here for some support, or write things down which seems to calm my anxiety. if it is day time I go for a walk round my local shops or libairy anything to distract myself for a bit.
I have even been know to re organise my clothes cupboard if I can't face going out.

Sorry to hear you are in pain & agree anxiety & pain are not good together
When I am having a bad day I try & be kind to myself , I cant say its easy but I try !
If I can accept it as well that can help take away the fear that the light at the end of the tunnel is moving further away because its my fear that pushes it in the distance its still as close if we can let it
Do you like anything like a comedy or comedian , putting something on to distract me helps & especially if it makes me laugh
I know people will be sick of this one but also I like Will-i-am , I have so much on my tape of him & if I put that on it always makes me smile
Not that I suggest that would work for you but maybe there is someone that makes you smile

Hi Joe sorry to see ur having a bad day. Vicious circle of anxiety v pain. Best to accept it knowing that today shall pass. Hope u feel better tomorrow. Self soothe. Dystraction. Good advice above.

Sorry your having a bad day. Pain is not easy either in the mix
I try and eat something I really like and I love watching Cookery or Home
Design programmes . I find I lose my self and get transported to a lovely
Home in the country.
Then I wake up and realise it's my apartment I am in . Lol
I also like to put on a nice Cd And that does help me.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for you

Hi joe, I hate those days I tend to come on here, practice mindfulness or try to clean! lately though I've been reading a bit on meditation and pain management there have been a few studies with positive results I'm on my phone at the min and can't work out how to send links but there is plenty of info on it, and failing all of that I usually sit, have a good cry and convince myself I'm going insane (I don't recommend the latter I hope you can find a little peace tonight.
